Celebrities prays for tsunami-hit Japan: Celebrities in Hindi film industry are deeply saddened by the devastating tsunami that has struck Japan in the aftermath of a strong earthquake that measured 8.9 on richter scale. Abhishek Bachchan, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Lata Mangeshkar and Riya Sen have tweeted their shock at the calamity.

Rana Daggubati, who’ll be seen in Dum Maaro Dum, has even posted a photo of the Japanese flag with the byline ‘Pray for Japan’. “Send your love and prayers,” he tweeted.

Abhishek Bachchan posted the helpline number for those Indians worried about their loved ones in Japan.

Neil Nitin Mukesh wrote: “Prayers for all in Japan. Heard about the Earthquake and Tsunami. Been watching news channels, 8.9 magnitude quake is huge. Floods are so bad. What Are predictions for 2012 at this rate. ..... Please tell me which all countries are affected.”

Manoj Bajpai wrote: “It's shattering to see a whole city being swept away by tsunami. My prayer goes out to them. God please help them. Let's pray for them”

Riya Sen tweeted: “Watch BBC 8.2 earthquake/ tsunami destroying north Japan. My heart goes out to those affected in Japan.”

Lata Mangeshkar posted: “Shocked and deeply distressed! Massive earth quake and Tsunami hits Japan..my heart is going out to the people of Japan..very disturbed!”

Riteish Deshmukh wrote: “Prayers for all in Japan - shocked to see the horrific pictures of the earthquake and the tsunami.”

Ashish Chowdhry was incredulous at the devastation. He tweeted: “Can't believe what's happening in Japan. Feel so weak n helpless. Can't say 'God help them', cause dunno who does this in the 1st place..”
