Shahrukh Khan quit Twitter because of Nasty comments

Shahrukh Khan quit Twitter because of Nasty comments: Even after having more than 8 lakh followers on Twitter, Shahrukh Khan has decided to quit the social networking site because of the nasty comments that some have been posting him.

In a recent interview on a TV show, SRK opened up about why he’s been keeping away from Twitter despite having posted regular tweets for a long time. In his tweets, SRK used to share a lot of personal moments, from the pics of his family to his worries at film shoots.

But he’s been asked many questions on Twitter that simply embarrassed him.

“As an actor and as a celebrity, I often come across people who look into my eye and ask me embarrassing questions at press conferences. However, I don't have any option other than putting up a smiling face and replying to the questions even if I am upset or angry. It has been happening since 20 years and it happened even during my interactions on Twitter. But I am socially inept, I don't know how to handle relationships and am not very good at dealing with such questions and therefore I thought it would be best to quit,” Shahrukh revealed in the interview.

One such nasty remark was made by a person who said that Shahrukh comes on Twitter only to promote his films.

“There were comments that 'Oh he only comes on Twitter when he wants to promote his films'. Well with all due respect to everyone, I want to say that 8-10 lakh do not make a film hit,” SRK rightly said.

Shakira does a music video with Shahrukh Khan

Shakira does a music video with Shahrukh Khan: Shahrukh Khan is going places. After tying up with Hollywood film-maker Martin Scorsese for a movie that will have him rubbing shoulders with Leonardo DiCaprio, the Bollywood’s superstar is learnt to have roped in none other than Shakira for a music video.
The music video will be for his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders, which hasn’t really lived up to its lofty name in the three IPL tournaments held so far. But their irrevocably optimist co-owner Shahrukh is pumping in his money and energy in making the team top-class in the coming tournament even though its poster boy Sourabh Ganguly may have got a short end of the stick.

In a bid to grab the eyeballs, SRK is reported to have roped in Latino singer Shakira to feature alongside him in a music video for KKR.

The song has been composed by Salim-Suleiman and rendered by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

Shahrukh bonded with Shakira on the sidelines of the FIFA World Cup in South Africa last year. Perhaps, the seeds of this collaboration were sown in their professional powwow back then.

Shahrukh Khan convinced 'Dabangg' director?

Shahrukh Khan convinced 'Dabangg' director?: Abhinav Kashyap’s ouster from Dabangg sequel is being met with a lot of speculation. Buzz is that he has switched loyalty to Shahrukh Khan.

Arbaaz Khan has confirmed that Kashyap won’t direct Dabangg sequel due to “personal and professional reasons” but never went on to clarify what those reasons are. Kashyap’s ambivalence towards directing the sequel was rooted first and foremost in the fact that he had his differences with Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan during and after the making of the film. On top of it came a lucrative directing offer from none other than Shahrukh Khan.

SRK had approached Kashyap with an offer to direct an entertainer for him. But rather than succumbing to the offer at first temptation, Kashyap, we hear, had opted to stick with Salman and Arbaaz for Dabangg 2 because he is attached to his debut film.

Alas, Arbaaz did not offer him a good paycheque. Reportedly, he was being paid the same amount he got for Dabangg, even though other banners, including SRK’s Red Chillies, were willing to shell out Rs. 2-3 crores to Kashyap.

Naturally, Kashyap opted for SRK’s film and bowed out of Dabangg sequel. Now, Arbaaz will himself direct the sequel.

Shahrukh Khan's 'Zor Ka Jhatka' show rejected on the boob tube

Shahrukh Khan's 'Zor Ka Jhatka' show rejected on the boob tube: It’s Shahrukh Khan who has got Zor Ka Jhatka, that too for the second time on boob tube.

The television show Zor Ka Jhatka hosted by Shahrukh and shot in Argentina has been getting dismally low TRPs ever since it went on air on Feb 1. It’s TVR on the opening day was 2.6, which is shockingly low for any show hosted by a major Bollywood star on TV. But more shocking is how the show’s TVR has dipped steadily to the range of 1.3 to 0.8.

This is the second time Shahrukh has faced rejection on the small screen after his show Kya Aap Panchvi Paas Se Tez Hai flopped three years ago.

In fact, Zor Ka Jhatka has got even lesser viewership than Rakhi Ka Insaaf.

Some feel that Shahrukh has not fully committed himself to the show. He did not fly to Argentina to shoot with the contestants but rather shot his portions in a studio. His shots were added to the Argentina shoot on the editing table to give the impression that he was on location.
